Peace to all who enter here and Welcome! On behalf of our Faith Community here at St. Casimir, it is a privilege and honor to welcome you. Please feel free to browse our site and, when you get a chance, come visit us in person and join us as we gather in our beautiful church to celebrate the gift of our faith, hope and love as members of God’s family. There are many wonderful things happening here at St. Casimir because of so many dedicated and devoted people. If you are looking for a place to call home, please know that there is a place for you.  HIGHLIGHTS

 


EUCHARISTIC ADORATION. . . Please join us for Eucharistic Adoration on Monday, September 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM for quiet prayer in the Chapel followed by Night Prayer.


NON SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM . . If you have children not attending a Catholic School and are in Grades K-8, please register them in the Religious Education Program for 2015-2016. This program will teach them about Jesus and the Catholic Church and it’s teachings. Classes are on the first Sunday of the month beginning in October at 11:00 AM in the Cupertino Center. To register, please call Pat Hartnett at 410-675-2800 or the Parish Office at 410-276-1981.

SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM . . .
Children preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) and First Eucharist (First Holy Communion) must attend classes.
Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 9:00 AM in the Cupertino Center. Requirements for  this program are:
    √The student must be Baptized Roman Catholic,
    √Bring a copy of their Baptismal Certificate,
    √The student must be 7 or older
    √Be in the 2nd grade or higher, and
    √Attended a Catholic School or a Religious Education Program the previous year.
To register, call Pat Hartnett at 410-675-2800 or the Parish Office at 410-276-1981. Classes for students and parents begin on September 20th at 9:00 AM in the Cupertino Center.


COOKING FOR CHRISTOPHER PLACE. . . Join us on Sunday, September 13 following the 8:00 AM Mass in the Kolbe Center to help with cooking a meal for Christopher Place and the Believe in Tomorrow House. The next date will be Sunday, June 7th.  Please contact Alix Garnier at 225-978-5044 for more information.


MY SISTER'S PLACE . . . The next volunteer event at My Sister's Place will be held on Sunday, September 13. The St. Casimir volunteers serve in the soup kitchen from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Please contact Brian Desmond if you can help or need more information at bdesmond@bcps.org.

 

BLOOD DRIVE . . .On Sunday, September 20th, the Young Adults and the Red Cross will host a Blood Drive at St. Casimir in the St. Anthony Hall from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. All donors will get a coupon for a free haircut at Sports Clips. Contact Kate at Katypetuni@aol.com to schedule a time. Walk in are also welcome.

 

PARISH EVENING OFFICE HOURS . . .  Office Hours will be extended on Monday & Thursday evenings until 8:00 PM to help accommodate parishioners who work during the day and need to conduct parish business. Due to the increase in evening hours, the parish office will be closed on Fridays. This will be effective until September 11 at which time we will revisit the advantages of evening hours.
