Peace to all who enter here and Welcome! On behalf of our Faith Community here at St. Casimir, it is a privilege and honor to welcome you. Please feel free to browse our site and, when you get a chance, come visit us in person and join us as we gather in our beautiful church to celebrate the gift of our faith, hope and love as members of God’s family. There are many wonderful things happening here at St. Casimir because of so many dedicated and devoted people. If you are looking for a place to call home, please know that there is a place for you. ADVENT SCRIPTURE SERIES. . . “The Word of God Is Living and Active…” (Hebrews 4:12)  Throughout this year at St. Casimir, we are presenting a series of programs on the Bible for interested adults. Beginning on Wednesday, December 2,  we will study Old Testament prophetic literature of the prophet Isaiah.  We use the texts of Isaiah frequently during Advent liturgies to announce the coming of the Messiah. Parishioner John Grega will hold these sessions on the four Wednesdays before Christmas from 7:00 PM to  8:30 PM in the Cupertino Center.  Suggestions for ongoing personal study of the Bible and for the use of the Bible in personal prayer will be included in each program.

THANKSGIVING DAY . . .  Mass will be celebrated on Thanksgiving Day at 9:30 AM in the Church. The parish office will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Happy Thanksgiving!


NEW PRAYER GROUP . . . Have you ever asked yourself “Is my prayer life stale?”Would you like to learn different prayer forms and practice them in a group setting? Would you like to join others who are interested in growing spiritually? Is so, consider joining a prayer group that will start the First Sunday of Advent.  Join us for a light brunch following the 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday, November 29 in the Cupertino Center Meeting Room. We will then meet in the Cupertino Center Chapel on the next three weeks in Advent, December 6(There will no prayer group due to the St. Nicholas Breakfast), 13 and 20, following the 10:00 AM Mass. Starting in January, the group will meet once monthly on a day and time to be determined by the group. NEVER ALONE THANKSGIVING DINNER . . Don't spend Thanksgiving Dinner Home Alone. Come to the Kolbe Center and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the Family Ministry Committee of the Parish and their family and friends as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day. The dinner id on November 26th, Thanksgiving Day at 11:00 AM. For more information, contact Dorothy Ecke at 410-206-6512.

BREAKFAST WITH ST. NICHOLAS & BAKE SALE. . . Join us for Breakfast with St. Nicholas on Sunday, December 6 after the 10:00 AM Mass in the Kolbe Center. Breakfast tickets are Ages 4 thru 10 - $3 and Ages 11 and up are $5. Under 4 are free. Last day to get tickets are Monday, November 30th. Tickets will be sold after the weekend Masses and in the parish office. Make checks payable to St. Casimir Church.  There will also be a bake sale after all Masses the weekend of December 5 and 6. WEDNESDAY MORNING SCRIPTURE SERIES . . . In anticipation of a spiritually rich Christmas season, everyone is invited to review together each week the Readings at Mass for the next Sunday of Advent.  We prepare to share the message that’s there.  Bring a friend; refreshments will be served.  Meeting dates are November 25, December 2, 9 and 16.  On Wednesday December 23, we will review Luke’s Nativity Narratives.  Gatherings for about an hour upstairs in the Cupertino Center. We will finish by 9:30 AM. For more information, call 443-682-8257.


WINE TASTING FOR EDUCATION . . .   Join the Young Partners In Excellence (YPIE) for a wine tasting and education on Tuesday, December 1st 6:30-8:30 p.m. Learn all about wine while tasting delicious samples and enjoying Italian appetizers in a private dining area on the second floor of Carlo's Italian Bistro in Cockeysville. Tickets are $20 and proceeds will support the Partners In Excellence Scholarship Program, which grants Catholic school scholarships to underprivileged youth in Baltimore City. YPIE is a young professionals group supporting the mission of Partners in Excellence. Space is limited so reserve your spot today on our Facebook page or by email. PARISH EVENING OFFICE HOURS . . .  Office Hours will be extended on Monday & Thursday evenings until 8:00 PM to help accommodate parishioners who work during the day and need to conduct parish business. Due to the increase in evening hours, the parish office will be closed on Fridays. This will be effective until further notice.
