Peace to all who enter here and Welcome! On behalf of our Faith Community here at St. Casimir, it is a privilege and honor to welcome you. Please feel free to browse our site and, when you get a chance, come visit us in person and join us as we gather in our beautiful church to celebrate the gift of our faith, hope and love as members of God’s family. There are many wonderful things happening here at St. Casimir because of so many dedicated and devoted people. If you are looking for a place to call home, please know that there is a place for you. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM  . . . A STATEMENT FROM THE CATHOLIC BISHOPS OF MARYLAND . . The attached document reviews the history and role of religious freedom in our society, highlights present-day threats to this freedom, and offers ways to get involved. Click here for PDF

TELL CONGRESS TO RESPECT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IN HEALTH CARE REFORM. . . Our religious liberty is being threatened by the US Department of Health and Human Services, which is mandating that all private health insurance plans cover sterilization, abortifacients, and contraception. It is crucial that Congress pass the Respect for Rights of Conscience Act to end this unprecedented threat. SUNDAY DINNER BINGO . . Our next Sunday Dinner Bingo will be on May 27th in the Kolbe Center. Doors open at 11:00 AM.

FESTIVAL CAR SHOW . . . Sunday, June 10 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Classic Cars, Trucks and Show Vehicles. If you would like to be part of the show, or for more information, please contact Chris Derkacz at 410-761-1927. Trophies will be awarded. Anyone entering a vehicle must be at the festival by 12 Noon.

FESTIVAL UPDATES . . . Grand Raffle Tickets - Please return stubs and payment to the parish office or in an envelope in the collection basket.  Call the parish office for more tickets.  Sponsorship for a Stand - Forms can be picked at the parish office to sponsor a stand for the festival starting at $250 and as low as $25.  Baked Goods - Cakes, Cookies, Pies, etc. will be needed for the Cake Stand. Donations can be dropped off at the parish office on Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8. On Saturday and Sunday, please bring baked goods to the Cake Wheel. Flea Market - We are looking for donations of items for our festival flea market which is held during Festival hours. Place smaller items in the bins in the vestibule of Church. For larger items, please call the parish office.  No clothes, furniture, or large electronics.  Festival Workers - We are in need of many volunteers to run the stands, work the flea market, help with food preparation, setting up the stands, etc.  Please check with Bernadette Vece to see how you can contribute your time or to make a contribution to make the festival a success. The more people we have volunteering, the more successful. If you have any questions about the festival, please call the parish office at 410-276-1981 and speak with Bernadette Vece.

 

PARISH FESTIVAL . . . Mark the dates on your calendar! This years festival will be held on Thursday, June 7 from 7 to 10 PM, Friday, June 8, 7 to 11 PM, Saturday, June 9, 6 to 11 PM and on Sunday, June 10 from 1 to 5 PM.
