ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

MEETINGS: Weekly meetings held in the New Meeting Room,
Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
PURPOSE: To be able to provide support for anyone suffering
with the disease of alcoholism.
ACTIVITIES: Fellowship and weekly meetings
BEAUTIFUL YEARS

MEETINGS: Weekly Meetings held on Wednesday at 12 Noon in the
New Meeting Room. Bingo begins 1:00 PM.
PURPOSE: To provide fellowship for senior citizens - lunch and
bingo.
BINGO

MEETINGS: Weekly BINGO is held on Saturday beginning at 12
Noon in the Kolbe Center Monthly DINNER BINGO is held the last Sunday of the
month beginning at 12 Noon in the Kolbe Center
PURPOSE: To provide fellowship for those with “some free
time”, especially the elderly, and all interested in coming together to play
bingo.
BOY SCOUTS

MEETINGS: Weekly meetings held every Wednesday evening from
7:00 PM-9:OO PM in the Scout Room above the gym in the Kolbe Center.
PURPOSE: St. Casimir Troop 131’s goal and mission is to teach
and enforce values of the Boy Scouts of America based on the three parts of the
Scout Oath and the twelve points of the Scout Law. These core values instill
Duty to God and Country, Duty to others and Duty to self. The Troop’s leaders
are responsible for teaching trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness, friendship,
courtesy, kindness, obedience, cheerfulness, thrift, bravery, cleanliness and
reverence. We teach responsibility and self-reliance to build character and
develop young men into law abiding adults.
ACTIVITIES: Monthly trips, week long summer camp, and fun in the great outdoors!
COUNSELING SERVICES

PURPOSE: To provide short-term counseling and-or referrals to
those experiencing emotional discomfort, family problems, etc.
FAMILY MINISTRY COMMITTEE

MEETINGS: Third Wednesday of the Month
at 7:00 PM in the Cupertino Center.
PURPOSE: Jesus expresses his special love for young people
when he says to his disciples, “Let the children come to me.”
As disciples of Jesus we continue his ministry of reaching out to the youth of
our community and neighborhood. The purpose of the Family Ministry Committee is
to create and foster a spirit of welcome and belonging
for our younger sisters and brothers in order that they will experience the
love, comfort and joy that comes
from living in friendship with Jesus Christ and being members of the Faith
Community of the Catholic Church.
ACTIVITIES: Spiritual, social & educational planned events
throughout the year.
FESTIVAL COMMITTEE

MEETINGS: Dates vary.
PURPOSE: To raise funds to benefit the youth of our Faith
Community with tuition assistance.
ACTIVITIES: Four day festival.
GIRL SCOUTS (Brownie-Daisy)

MEETINGS: Weekly meetings held on Monday evening from 6:00 PM
to 7:00 PM in the Cupertino Center.
PURPOSE: Girl Scouts is an organization dedicated solely to
girls to build character and the skills they need for success in today’s world.
ACTIVITIES: Weekly meetings for badge work, socializing, craft making, walks,
day field trips, sleep-overs at parish center, ice skating, roller skating,
bowling, annual cookie sales for fund raising programs and lots of fun.
GIRL SCOUTS (Junior Troop Ages 8-11 and Cadet Troop Ages
11-14 and 14 & up)

MEETINGS: Weekly meetings held on Monday evenings from 6:30
PM-8:OO PM in the Cupertino Center-2nd floor. Occasional planned weekend
activities.
PURPOSE: Girl Scouts is an organization dedicated solely to
girls, where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character
and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults,
girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives; e.g., strong
values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and
self-worth.
ACTIVITIES: Weekly meetings for badge work, socializing, craft
making, neighborhood walks, weekend field trips or day hikes, overnight camping
at Girl Scout camping sites, sleepovers at parish center, field trips to Pizza
Hut, ice skating, roller skating, bowling, swimming, Inner Harbor exhibits,
Oriole games, amusement parks, summer camp opportunities available and annual
cookie sales for fundraising purposes.
NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

MEETINGS: Weekly meeting held on Friday evenings from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the
New Meeting Room.
PURPOSE:1 hour recovery meeting

POLISH AMERICAN HERITAGE COMMITTEE

MEETINGS: Third Thursday of the month
PURPOSE: The Polish American Heritage Committee has as its
purpose to explore and implement ways in which we can
share and raise awareness of our Polish customs and traditions in a
non-liturgical context.
Demonstrate Polish traditions through social events: Oplatek, Pisanki
(Traditional Polish Egg Dying), Presentation on Polish History, Polish Paper
Cutting Class, Mock Polish Wedding, Bus Trips.
ST. CASIMIR HOLY NAME SOCIETY

MEETINGS: First Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the New
Meeting Room. First Sunday of each month at 10:00 AM Mass.
PURPOSE: To honor the sacred name of Jesus Christ and to
follow in his footsteps as honorable Catholic men and women
fostering fellowship within the faith community.
ACTIVITIES: Super Bowl Party, Paczki-Valentine Dance, Bull &
Oyster Roast Dance; Palm Sunday Breakfast & Honor Guard for Communicants,
Mother’s & Ladies Day Breakfast w-flower donation, Parish Festival (Staff and
sponsor a stand), Crab Feast, Dinner Dance, Chicken Dinner & Fall Dance,
Afternoon of Reflection. Scholarship Award Program for Catholic High School and Fr. Kolbe School Students,
Participate in the Orioles Holy
Name Night. New members are always welcome.
