The Faith Community of St. Casimir
 Y.A.M (Young Adult Ministry)

To grow in our relationship with God,
to foster fellowship with one another,
to serve others in love.

Welcome, young adults, to The Faith Community of St. Casimir in Canton. We invite all in their 20s and 30s, single and married, to participate in the life of our parish and community through faith enrichment, service, and social events with other young adults.

The Faith Community of St. Casimir young adults are a growing and vibrant part of the parish. We reflect the diverse community of Canton itself—energetic professionals and students, married and single, natives of Canton as well as newcomers to Baltimore and the surrounding area.

The Ministry is both an opportunity for young adults to gather together for social and spiritual development activities as well as a means to serve others. It is in the growth of our relationship with God and with one another that we are led to minister to others.

Since this is a relatively new Ministry at our faith community, we will be looking into opportunities for social gatherings such as happy hours, bowling, season-specific outings, and sporting events. We also had suggestions to participate with other parish ministries to serve both the faith community and the public at large. Service activities could include volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, area shelters, and soup kitchens. Of course, central to all we do is the strengthening of our faith and friendship with God. There also are opportunities for faith formation such as Theology on Tap, retreats, and seminars with our own pastor, Fr. Ross Syracuse.

Idea Bank is a place for you to send your comments, questions, and suggestions. The Young Adult Ministry is the voice and face of all of us in the faith community.
